Locks & Bonds Tape Extensions are the EASIEST and FASTEST way to add extensions without damage to your own hair. Great for Salons and Stylists, less time…more installs! Be more creative with custom colors with tapes extensions!

  • Tape extensions will remain attached to your hair for 2 months or longer if applied correctly.
  • Use with SuperTape or Walker Ultra-Hold Tape Rolls to re-use extensions.
  • Available in 2 lengths: 22″ (56cm) and 18″ (45cm)
  • Because the tape is so flat, they can be worn very high up on the head. This is perfect for us ladies with fine-thin hair.
  • L&B Tape Extensions are made from the same finest European Texture Cuticle Intact Remy Hair that many know from our I-Tips.
  • Tape Extensions are easy to apply and remove again without damage to hair.
  • Remove quickly and easily with 70-90% pure rubbing alcohol available in any drug store.
  • L&B Tape hair can be washed and styled any way you like. Holds curls great.
  • L&B strips are wider than most brands at 2″ (5 cm). Most all other brands are only 1.5″. This means a faster install less fussing about. Also more flexiblity in cutting the tape-tips to fit around the hair-line, since they can easily be cut in half to smaller 1″ strips.
  • They are also pre-taped and ready to install by simply removed the white-backing from tape.
  • Choose different colors for custom effects! Since two tape extension are always worn together as a “sandwich”, use one color for the top tape and a contrasting color for the bottom tape for highlights or lowlights.
  • Packaged in packs of 10 strips (total 20″ of tape hair) to make choosing different colors more flexible and easier. You will not be left with too many of one color that you may not need.
  • 35 to 40 grams of hair per pack. IMPORTANT: Always know how many grams are in a pack before purchasing. Eventhough some companes may say they have 20 strips, the total grams per pack may be less!

Compare L&B prices with other brands by always checking the total hair weight and length per pack.

If a brand does not mention how many grams per pack, always ask before you buy. Many will seem better priced, but will have less weight (less hair) per pack!

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT COLORS

 Different monitors may show colors slightly differently, as can picture to picture. Apple monitors on different devices such as iphones, pads and tablets may show colors with more contrast and darker than they actually are..

L&B is not responsible for any tape extensions that do not hold optimally in your hair, as the holding power depends on the skill of the person installing the hair.

There is a learning curve in attaching them correctly. Even though L&B ONLY uses the best tape available to pre-tape the extensions…It is not unusual to have to re-adjust or re-attach a tape extension strip at times. This can happen with ALL tape extensions from all companies.
It can be normal for tape extensions to sometimes slip out after washing your hair if they are not installed correctly to begin with, or too much conditioner or oils are used. If they slip out, they are very easy to re-attach. If you color the hair, do not get dye solution on the tapes as they may loose holding power.

You must always have an extra roll of tape on hand while wearing tape extensions to repair loose strips.

How many Extensions will you need?

For a full head install: 3 to 5 packs. It is very individual. The shorter your own hair is and the longer and fuller you would like it to be, the more you will need.

For only volume, and less length, you will need less. 1 to 2 packs if cut to blend with your hair.

Remy or Virgin Remy

Which should I buy?

Here are the facts:

  • Both L&B Remy and L&B Virgin hair are 100% best quality human hair with an intact cuticle. L&B only uses the highest grade hair for all extensions.
  • Both have a fine European Texture.
  • Both can be worn together and look the same.
  • Both have the same weight per pack and are naturally tapered on the ends.
  • Remy hair is less expensive and easier to produce. Remy raw hair may have been previously colored before it was donated.
  • L&B Remy is highest quality remy and is a huge favorite among our customers.
  • L&B Remy hair is NOT substandard hair! It is top quality Remy hair and comparable, or better even, than many well known brands that cost a lot more.
  • Virgin is more expensive as it is rare…and not always available as it is less plentiful. Our raw virgin hair has never been colored or chemically treated before being slowly and gently toned to our color ring. No harsh bleach/heat combo is used.
  • The Remy hair will last several months depending on care given and ph of water used for daily care, before it will start to lose hydration.
  • The Virgin hair will usually remain hydrated longer, with same care given.
  • The Remy hair is a great favorite and popular with our salons because of  the amazing price point and quality!

Shipping Information

  • Cutoff time for same day shipping is 1:00pm US Pacific Time (Mon-Fri, and 11:15am on Saturday. No shipping on Sundays and U.S. holidays.
  • Tracking info is sent via email after package has entered into the carrier's system. The tracking number can be found under the "orders" tab on your L&B account page. If you checked out as a guest, this information is not available.
  • Shipments can be tracked at the carrier's website; usps.com, fedex.com, ups.com, and dhl.com. NOTE: Check-outs as a "Guest" do not have access to this info. Please sign up for an account before ordering if you want to track your orders.
  • IMPORTANT: To avoid delays in fulfilling an order, we may need to contact you to confirm the shipping address, advise that a product is out of stock, or any other issue that pertains to the order. Our preferred method of contact is:
    • 1. Via SMS. We find this the most effective way to get an answer quickly to avoid shipping delays. NOTE: We will NEVER send a solicitation via SMS.
    • 2. Phone call. NOTE: We will NEVER call you with a solicitation.
    • 3. Email. After you order, please check your emails within the next 24 hours after ordering! Add locksandbonds@gmail.com to your contact list so our emails don't go to your spam folder.

Locks & Bonds offers the following shipping options:

NOTE: All Delivery times are estimations given by our carriers AFTER we ship.

Standard: Delivery time is 3-7 business days after shipping. Packages may be shipped with USPS First Class. We may use other carriers at our discretion.

Fedex 2-Day: Delivery time is 2 business days after shipping. Please note that orders shipped on Thursday will arrive on Saturday, Not all areas have Saturday delivery, in which case the package will arrive on Monday. Orders shipped on a Friday or Saturday will arrive the following Tuesday.

FedEx Priority Overnight  Orders shipped Monday - Thursday will arrive the next business day, usually by 12:00pm. Orders shipped on Friday or Saturday will arrive on Monday.

FedEx Priority Overnight (Saturday Delivery)  Fedex offers Saturday delivery for an extra fee. Orders shipped on Friday with the Saturday delivery option will arrive on Saturday by 4:00pm. Not all areas have Saturday delivery, in which case the package will arrive on Monday. If you select the Saturday delivery option your address does not have Saturday delivery, we will send you an SMS alert and refund the extra fee.

Important Caution about Time-Critical Deliveries

  • Monday - Friday: The cut-off time for same-day shipping is 1:00pm Pacific / 3 pm Eastern). If you narrowly miss the cut-off time, send an SMS to 206-317-8584 to see if we can still get it out the same day.
  • Saturday: The cut-off time for same-day shipping is 11:15am Pacific - 2:15 pm Eastern). 

Important Note about Delivery Confirmation

All packages are shipped with delivery confirmation. Locks & Bonds may ship with Signature confirmation at our discretion. Locks & Bonds is not liable for missing packages at the final destination after a confirmed delivery. Make sure your delivery area is secure. Locks & Bonds will NOT re-ship an order if the shipment is declared "delivered" by the carrier.

We normally ship all international orders via FedEx Priority International, UPS Worldwide Express, or the US Postal Service,. We may use alternative carriers at our discretion.

We strongly recommend using Fedex or UPS. It may seem a bit pricey, but you will receive your hair in ONLY approx. 3 business days after we ship and you have better tracking visibility. We think this is worth the bit extra! Consider for the same price, you can go out and eat a pizza and 1 glass of red wine...or, get your long lush hair ASAP!

Is there really such a thing a "Free Shipping"? No. Companies that offer Free Shipping, only add the price of shipping to the item. This means that the quality of the item is not as high as the price may suggest, because shipping has been added to it. UNFORTUNATELY, IN REALITY, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE SHIPPING.

Also, most so called "free shipping" takes more than 2-4 weeks for oversees shipping to Europe, without a tracking number or insurance! Protect your investment with DHL or FEDEX shipping.

L&B TIP: To save on FedEx/UPS shipping, we suggest you combine your order with a friend! We can ship multiple items for the same price;-D

  • FedEx and UPS. Includes a tracking number in real-time. Average time according to FedEx/UPS: approx. 3 to 4 business days transit, depending on countries customs). International orders usually will be shipped within 24 hours if ordered Monday through Friday. (1 Business Day Express shipping rules only pertains to orders within the USA). Tracking numbers can be can be checked at www.fedex.com or www.dhl.com.

Depending on the country you live in, your shipment may be examined and you may have to pay customs taxes to your country. Locks & Bonds is not responsible for any customs applied to shipment. If customs taxes are applied in your country, they are the buyers responsibility. We do not add an invoice into oversees packages. If you need an invoice, please print out the on-line invoice after check-out.
